He did it!

We are a very proud family if you can't tell. TJ has finally finished medical school and graduated on Friday, May 21, 2010. His dad and I were able to "hood" him (you see that green thing around his neck, we put that on him). Sophie was happy until everyone clapped (for TJ or the next graduate, not sure) and then she started screaming because she did not like the noise. After graduation we went to TJ's cousin's house. She made some delicious mexican food and we got some quality visiting time in before we head to Illinois. It was a very good day full of great festivities, family, friends, and food. Thank you to all who celebrated this special day with us! We will miss you greatly.

Universal Studios

We went to Universal Studios on Wednesday with our friends Jared and Kathleen. It was a beautiful day. TJ and I have never been so we thought it would be fun to go before we leave California. Sophie had a blast in her stroller (that we borrowed from Heather because ours is in Quincy)! We got a five day pass at Costco so we hope to go one more time before we go.

I know I sure can't, but I wish I could :) She is so proud of herself! I love this little girl!

Needless to say, we are soooo excited for our new house! TJ took our stuff out there so he has already seen it! I can't wait to get out there to see it in person!

Sophie's new bouncer

Since we packed her other one, my friend Tiffany gave us a bouncer for Sophie to play in while we are in the moving transition. She is having so much fun with it! We are unable to have a conversation while she is in it, but the babe is happy so we are too! Thank you aunt Tiffany.

Fever

Sophie got her first fever today. So sad. She looks pitiful, has a runny nose, has been sleeping a lot of the day, and has been super snuggly. That last part is cute. But I feel so bad for her. I can't really help her it seems. I have heard that fevers and runny noses come with teething but TJ has shown me otherwise. You know, he is in that doctor way. :) I hope that she gets better soon.

Car Accident

Today Sophie experienced her first car accident! Don't worry, she is okay. We were on Mountain trying to get on the freeway and we were rear-ended. It seemed like a pretty hard hit but the Honda held up like a champ. It looks like minor paint damage on the bumper. Sophie was startled but she seems to be doing fine. I felt around her head and neck to see if anything was hurting her and she didn't jump or cry or move at all. I hope nothing shows up tomorrow. I got a bit of a head and neck ache cuz I was jolted and Kathleen's back is hurting her a bit. But, all in all, I think we are fine. The other car was a bit more damaged and the driver is fine too. This is definitely one thing that we didn't need to happen in the middle of our move!!!
