Hubby time!

In March TJ and I left our kids with our Bishop's family for seven, yes 7, days! Granted, it was to go to Las Vegas for TJ's boards and a conference, but still. We stayed at the Excalibur, which I thought would be very nostalgic of my childhood, but it turned out to be expensive and smoky and not so great. However, we spent some time with Dami, Martin, Jonathon and Mindi, and our good friends Matt and Emily drove down from Utah for a few days. I even got to spend some time with my Big Sis in the sorority, Laura. We had so much fun with all of them and were so grateful for the time we had with our long lost friends. One of the highlights of our trip was the amazing, marvelous, awe-inspiring Criss Angel Show!!! Ha! Not only did he do many similar illusions, he was incredibly into himself. He was constantly patting himself on the back. It was terribly annoying. Oh well, it made for good laughs. It was good to have some time away from the kids, with my hubby, who skipped a lot of the conference to be with me :)

We also made a quick trip to Salt Lake to see our families. It was good.

Liam's 2nd Birthday!

2. 2! I can't believe it. He is growing up and learning so much. He speaks much better than Sophie did at his age. Sophie is such a good example to him, mostly. He copies her when she counts and sings, plays and of course, whines. He looks more and more like his daddy, especially with the only haircut his daddy knows how to do. But, he has my eyes :) He is the cutest little snot you ever did see! His smile can get him out of anything.

Easter 2013

This year the Easter Bunny decided to bring Sophie a big girl car seat! She loved it! And Grandma Moore gave her girlie princess stuff which she again, loved! Liam got a fun buckle, zipper, clasp puzzle. They both loved the Easter Egg Hunt, naked ;) We also dyed Easter eggs with our good friend Dami.

More December

Great snow playing outfits! (notice his boots...)
 backyard sledding with daddy
 visiting Santa...think they enjoyed it???

annual avenue of lights trip with hot chocolate in hand!
driving lessons...quotes from Sophie: "I'll do my best daddy. It's ok" and "not now daddy, I'm driving!"

December

Do I still have followers??? I know its been awhile!
December has come and gone and TJ has recently downloaded the photos from my phone so now I can blog. The holidays are busy for everyone and we were no different. Sophie and I made what seemed like thousands of ornaments! The three years we have been here in Quincy, at the residency, it has been our family tradition to give TJ's coworkers and the residency staff a homemade ornament. The first year I made fabric yo-yo ornaments, the second we painted stain glass ornaments, and this year we made salt dough ornaments. They turned out really cute and everyone seemed to like them. So that's always good. The more personal circular ornaments were for our family. Unfortunately only some of our family members received them as someone stole the package sent to the Utah Moore's :( Who does that?! I'm over it, can you tell...Anyway, they were cute and thoughtful and that's what matters, I guess.

We were reindeer and Santa fairies...

We played in the snow in our jammies, skirts, and rainboots...

Nana and papa bought personlized jammies for the kids

Our child friendly Christmas tree...the ornaments kept making their way higher and higher while the flowers kept becoming bouquets throughout the house...

TJ's special present from nana and papa...can you see the pure joy over the *ahem* fart book...

 All sorts of fun presents...

November

In November TJ had an interview in Fallbrook, Ca. They flew the whole family out. The kids and I got to stay an extra week! We had so much fun. Before TJ left, Nana and Papa took us all to Disneyland. Sophie was in heaven! She wore her Sleeping Beauty dress and Nana bought her a tiara. She met Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Jasmin, though she didn't seem very happy about it. I'm just glad she got to meet them because when we got there they said that the princesses were busy with filming the Christmas parade and that they would likely not be available for pictures. I was livid! so, I'm glad everything worked out. Thanks Nana and Papa for finding them!

Halloween

Sophie was a cupcake princess thanks to Aunt Angie and Liam was Superman. I will be so sad when these Superman jammies don't fit anymore. We went to Brett's ward's trunk or treat and got loaded with candy and we went to our own trunk or treat and got loaded with candy. Good times!
